Golden Bantam Corn Seeds

50 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom golden bantam corn seeds (Zea mays) per packet. One of the earliest and oldest heirloom sweet yellow corn varieties. Great for corn on the cob in dishes and for freezing. Quicker to mature than other corns at 80 days. Direct sow 1-2 in deep in full sun as early as 1-2 weeks after last frost when soil temp reaches at least 60°F. Cannot tolerate frost. Space 12 in apart. Space rows 36 in apart. Germination takes 7-10 days. Likes well drained and composted soil. Mulch around plant once established. Use organic pest control on sight of bugs. Matures in 80 days. Harvest after silk turns brown. Plant with squash and beans. Isolate from other corn varieties.
