100 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom purple sprouting broccoli seeds (Brassica oleracea) per packet. Bred to overwinter by planting in the early fall for spring harvests. Nutrient dense and full of color when eaten raw. Originates from England. Grows to 2 1/2 feet tall. Direct sow outdoors 0.5 in deep, 2-3 weeks before last frost, 3-6 in apart. For indoors, plant 5-6 weeks before last frost. Keep soil moist and in sunlight. Add compost. Transplant outdoors after last frost when true leaves emerge. Place 12 in apart. Germination takes 5-14 days. Plant again in late summer for fall harvest. Matures in 60-70 days. Plant with herbs and onions.
