Anise Seeds

350 open-pollinated, non-gmo, and pesticide-free heirloom anise (Pimpinelle anisum) seeds per packet. Harvest leaves for culinary use and seeds for flavoring, medicine, baking, and cooking. Direct sow after last frost when soil reaches 65-70F. Sow 0.25 deep and 12 in apart. Germinates in 14-21 days. Place in full sun. Prefers well drained soil and light water. Remove any emerging weeds. Plant with cilantro. Repels aphids and attracts bees. 115 days to maturity. Harvest throughout season. Save seeds when heads turn brown. Dry out of direct sunlight.
