How should the herbal extract be taken?

There is a glass dropper in the bottle. A recommended dose is 1 milliliter or 30 drops. This roughly equals filling up the dropper. You can directly ingest the oil or dilute it in a smoothie or drink. You should take this on an empty stomach or between meals. Take a break after one month of usage.

What are herbal extracts and how are they made?

The extract is made by combining 1 part dried herb with 2 parts extra virgin olive oil in a glass jar. The herbs then infuse into the olive oil for 8+ weeks. The herbs are then removed from the oil.

How is this different from other extracts?

Most herbal tinctures and extracts are made by infusing herbs into glycerin or other solvents at high temperatures for only 1-2 weeks. The temperatures destroy many of the beneficial compounds. The short extraction period also does not infuse all of the compounds. On top of that, glycerin is not as effective of a solvent. Glycerin is typically made with vegetable oils from genetically modified sources.

How long do they last?

The herbal extracts all contain a best by date and generally will last a full year from the time of purchase.

How much is in each bottle?

Each bottle holds 1 fluid ounce of herbal extract in olive oil.

How should they be stored?

The herbal extracts should be kept in the glass amber jars away from heat and light in a cool and dry place.
