Einkorn Ancient Wheat Seeds

100 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom Einkorn Ancient Wheat (Triticum monococcum) seeds per packet. Ancient wheat with high nutrient and protein profile. Great for breads, pastries, tortillas, and pastas. Easier to digest than many modern wheats. Direct sow 1/2-1 in deep in spring around last frost. Plant 25-30 seeds every square foot. Space 6-9 in apart. Place in full sun. Prefers loose, well drained loamy soil. Moisten soil if no forecasted rain. Germinates well in cooler temps and takes 5-10 days to sprout. Prefers light, even moisture. Remove weeds. Matures in 120 days. Berries should be hard when ready to harvest at the end of the summer. Cut wheat and hang upside down to dry.
