Menstrual Relief Tea Guide!
What herbs help with menstrual cramping and periods?
The My Health Forward menstrual relief tea is made with a combination of 100% organic mugwort leaves, raspberry leaves, fennel seeds, ceylon cinnamon chips (Cinnamomum verum), calendula flowers, and chamomile flowers. The herbs in the menstrual relief tea are great for relieving menstrual cramps, reducing bloating and discomfort, and helping relieve bleeding.
How is this tea different?
My Health Forward combines small batches of potent herbs to make tea blends with healing powers. The herbs are freshly picked from American farms and nature preserves. The herbs are kept intact and mixed together into loose leaf blends with noticeably more flavor, color, and health compounds.
How much tea is in each bag?
The tea is offered in one size. The small bag contains 2 ounces or 56.67 grams of loose leaf herbs. This is 30-45 days of servings.
How should the tea be brewed?
Combine 1-1.5 teaspoons of herbs (a spoonful) for every 8-12 ounces of water. For maximum potency, cover and simmer the herbs for 10-15 minutes on the stovetop in boiling water. This will give you as much of the beneficial compounds as possible in the tea infusion. You can re-steep the herbs two more times in the same day.
What are the teas packaged in?
The loose leaf teas are packed in bags that are 100% compostable and free of BPA/BPS, PLA, PFAS, & Phthalates. The labels are 100% compostable as well.
Where are the herbs grown?
The herbs are all regeneratively grown or wild-crafted from small American permaculture farms without the use of any pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides. The herbs are picked, dried, combined, and shipped to your door.
How long does the tea last?
The teas are freshest and most potent when consumed within 180 days of opening and can last three years.
How should the tea be stored?
The herbal tea should be kept in its bag away from direct light, heat, and moisture.
What are herbal teas?
A mixture of complimentary herbs that you infuse into tea for potent health benefits rather than just taste. The tea mixtures are specially crafted to provide you with healing remedies.
