350+ open-pollinated, non-gmo, and pesticide free heirloom Premier Kale Kale Seeds (Brassica oleracea) per packet. High yielding and fast to mature kale variety with smooth leaves. Commonly used in salads, pastas, chip-making, smoothies, and soups. Slow to bolt. Originates from heirloom Siberian kale. Grows in zones 3-12. Sow as early as soil can be worked in spring. Sow three seeds 0.5 in deep every 18 in. Place in direct sunlight. Takes 5-10 days to germinate. Keep soil moist and evenly drained. Mulch around kale. Plant again 8-12 weeks before first fall frost. Plant with cilantro, dill, and alliums. Matures in 60 days. Keep harvesting all season. Cut from base. Isolate from other brassicas. Biennial.
