Khorasan Ancient Wheat Seeds

200 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom Khorasan Wheat ( Triticum turanicum) seeds per packet. Ancient wheat with high nutrients and protein. Great for breads, doughs, and pastas. Easier to digest than many modern wheats.  Direct sow 1 in deep in spring around last frost. Plant 25-30 seeds every square foot. Space 6-9 in apart. Place in full sun. Prefers loose, well drained soil. Moisten soil if no forecasted rain. Germinates well in cooler temps and takes 5-10 days. Prefers light, even moisture. Add compost to soil. Cannot survive temps over 95F. Remove weeds. Matures in 120 days. Berries should be hard when ready to harvest. Cut wheat and hang upside down to dry.
