Speckled Pea Seeds

100 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom speckled pea seeds (Pisum sativum) per packet. Use trellis to contain growth and for support. Crisp and lightly sweet flavor. Direct sow 1 in deep 4-6 weeks before last frost. Take 3-7 days to germinate. Sow in well drained and fertile soil. Place in direct sunlight. Plant 4 in apart. Maintain even moisture but avoid overwatering. Mulch around plants to prevent weeds and keep in moisture. Continuously harvest pods to promote production. Use trellis to contain growth and for support. Plant again in late summer for fall harvests. Harvest as micro-greens after 10 days or when the pods reach maturity in 60 days.
