Waltham Broccoli Seeds

Approximately 400 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom Waltham 29 broccoli seeds (Brassica oleracea) per packet. Originates from Waltham, Massachusetts and an ideal cool-weather broccoli variety. Forms medium-sized florets of 5-6 inches with side shoots. Can be harvested all season long. Direct sow outdoors 0.5 in deep, 2-3 weeks before last frost, 3-6 in apart. For indoors, plant 5-6 weeks before last frost. Keep soil moist and in sunlight. Add compost. Transplant outdoors after last frost when true leaves emerge. Place 12 in apart. Germination takes 5-14 days. Plant again in late summer for fall harvest. Matures in 85 days. Plant with herbs and onions.
