Approximately 500 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom Wild Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa) seeds per packet. Perennial that attracts butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. Direct sow from 2-4 weeks before last frost to late summer. Lightly push seeds into surface. Needs light to germinate. Keep soil evenly moist but not wet. Germinates in 10-20 days. Space 12 in apart. Or start indoors 6-10 weeks before last frost at soil temp of 60-70F and transplant after last frost. Prefers well drained and dry soil. Attracts pollinators. Deadhead to encourage new blooms. Cut flowers that just opened. Harvest brown seeds 1-3 weeks after bloom.
