Aromatic Aster - Aster oblongifolius Seeds

Approximately 225 open-pollinated, pesticide free, and native Aromatic Aster (Aster oblongifolius) seeds per packet. Beautiful wildflower with a lovely balsam aroma. Flowers in the fall. Germinates in dryer soil with full sun. Direct sow in fall or early spring by pushing into surface. For indoor planting, start 6-8 weeks before last frost. Keep soil at 65-70F and evenly moist until germination, 7-21 days. Transplant outdoors after last frost. Perennial. Loves full sun and dry soil. Remove encroaching weeds. Cut stalks at end of season to promote spring growth and harvest seeds. Pollinator friendly.
