Champion Radish Seeds

150 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom champion radish seeds (Raphanus sativus) per packet. Quick to mature in 25 days. Grows to a good size of 1.5 in diameter with a firm and crisp texture. Bright red roots. Thrives in cool temperatures and tolerates the cold well. Plant every two weeks for continuous harvest until hot summer temps arrive. Great for raised beds and container. This variety originated from Northern Europe. Direct sow as early as four weeks before last frost. Place 0.5 in deep and 3 in apart. Germination takes 4-7 days. Sow again in the fall, starting 6-8 weeks before frost. Matures in 25 days. Water evenly. Add compost to soil. Avoid planting near other radish varieties since they can cross-pollinate.
