Approximately 1,200 wildflower and pesticide-free Long Headed Coneflower (Ratibida columnifera) seeds per packet. Grows in zones 2-12. Perennial. Attracts butterflies and birds. Direct sow at the end of fall. Press the seeds into soil surface. Needs light to germinate. Seeds will sprout in the spring. Or for spring planting, stratify in fridge for 30 days and direct sow after last frost. Keep soil moist. Takes 14-28 days to germinate. Once established, coneflower will thrive in dryer soil.
