Mammoth Melting Sugar Pea Seeds

30 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom Mammoth Melting Sugar Pea Seeds (Pisum sativum) per packet. Use trellis to contain growth and for support. Stringless variety that is crisp and slightly sweet without the tough inner fiber found in other pea pods. Great fresh in salads and stir fries. Mildew resistant. Grows to six feet tall. Direct sow 1-1.5 in deep 4-6 weeks before last frost. Take 3-7 days to germinate. Sow in well drained and fertile soil. Place in direct sunlight. Plant 4 in apart. Maintain even moisture but avoid overwatering. Mulch around plants to prevent weeds and keep in moisture. Continuously harvest pods to promote production.
