How is this different from other salves?

The ingredients are organic and sourced directly from American and Hawaiian farmers using regenerative practices. The flowers and orange peel are slowly infused into the oil over 6+ weeks to extract as much of their healing properties as possible. Most salves only use essential oils which lack many of the compounds that can be extracted with oil.

How is the salve made?

The dried flowers and orange peel are separately added to glass jars with olive oil. The herbs infuse into the olive oil for 6+ weeks with daily mixing. The herbs are then removed from the oil. The oil is then mixed with the beeswax and jarred.

What is this salve good for?

Calendula salve is good for soothing, healing, protecting, and rejuvenating the skin. Apply it directly onto your skin.

How long does it last?

The salve will contain a best by date and generally will last a full year from the time of purchase.

How much is in the bottle?

Around 1.25 fluid ounces which will last 6+ months since a little goes a long way.

How should it be stored?

The salve should be kept in the glass amber jars away from heat and light in a cool and dry place.

How does this smell?

This has a light floral and herbal smell with the calendula standing out the most.
