How to make the herbal teas?

My Health Forward combines small batches of potent herbs to make tea blends with healing powers. The herbs are freshly picked from American farms and nature preserves. The herbs are kept intact and mixed together into loose leaf blends with noticeably more flavor, color, and health compounds.

Combine 1-1.5 teaspoons of herbs (a spoonful) for every 8-12 ounces of water. For maximum potency, cover and simmer the herbs for 10-15 minutes on the stovetop in boiling water. You can use a teapot with a built in strainer, use a stainless steel strainer, or place the herbs directly in the boiling water (strain them when pouring into a cup). This will give you as much of the beneficial compounds as possible in the tea infusion. You can re-steep the herbs two more times in the same day.

You can also pour boiling water into a tea cup or french press with the herbs and let them sit for 10+ minutes. This will make a strong herbal tea infusion as well.

Brew the tea as needed or take it for 3-4 straight weeks before taking a break for a week.

How to take the herbal tinctures?

My Health Forward makes potent herbal tinctures by infusing wild-crafted and organic American herbs for 8-12 weeks into organic Minnesota farm made Vodka.

There is a glass dropper in the bottle. A recommended dose is 0.7 milliliter, which is 21 drops or 1/2 the dropper. Drop the liquid under your tongue and let it sit for 30-60 seconds before swallowing or dilute in a drink (water, tea, or smoothie) and ingest. Take on an empty stomach or between meals. Take 1-2 times a day. Take as needed or for 3-4 straight weeks before taking a break for a week.

If you are pregnant or nursing a baby, ask a health professional before taking. If you are taking a medication, please consult a health professional before taking.

How long does the tea last?

The teas are freshest and most potent when consumed within 180 days of opening and can last three years.

How should the tea be stored?

The herbal tea should be kept in its bag away from direct light, heat, and moisture.
